I’m a makeup snob. But I’m also a makeup junkie. So if there’s a chance there’s something just as good out there, but at a fraction of the cost- I’ll try it.
How I wish I had this knowledge last summer when we went to Hawaii and I forgot to pack my makeup!
So I made a video to show my application and to compare the high end matches to the low end dupes. Check below for a product list.

Hmmmm, looks like I might spend a little more time in the cosmetics aisle next time I hit up Target!! I’ve always been a throw on some foundation (with my hands), slam some blush on my cheeks, a little eyeshadow, liner (sometimes), and mascara. A smidge of lips and I’m done kind of girl. But I never look as polished and lovely as you do …. I need a Frugie intervention!!
I ordered my first Mac products thanks to you! I realize that’s not the point of this video, but dammit, I’m excited!!
I am so excited to try this new stuff! Except… you forgot to mention the color for the Color Tattoo metal shadow. What is it? I’m also scared of that bright, bright Rimmel lipstick. I went searching at Wal-Mart (ew!) for the Flower lipstick you mentioned in your other makeup post, but I couldn’t find it.
